Diversity Role Models (DRM) is a dynamic LGBTQ+ anti-bullying charity (registered charity number: 1142548) dedicated to ending LGBTQ+ bullying.
Founded in 2011, Diversity Role Models mission is to prevent homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in UK schools. We aim to stop bullying before it happens by educating all young people about differences in sexuality and gender identity, by providing training for school staff and governors and by offering consultancy to schools and educational environments.
We actively seek to create a more compassionate and inclusive society by empowering the next generation with the knowledge, empathy, and courage to embrace differences and respect all individuals, regardless of their background, gender, sexual orientation, or identity.
Diversity Role Models deliver this inclusive education through in-person and online workshops. These workshops present young people with the opportunity to engage with inspiring Volunteer Role Models who share their personal stories of being LGBTQ+ or an ally, challenging stereotypes and fostering understanding. Diversity Role Models also offer valuable resources and support to educators, schools, and communities to create safe and inclusive environments for all.
